MYSTERY CHART
Speak of the devil, I was just looking at this chart today when a comment on the last post asked for the update. We are continuing to follow the path incredibly well of what the Commercials are doing with their position in the Eurodollar one year ago. This still makes no sense except for one possible explanation. This would go deep into conspiracy theory, but I don't know of any other explanation. Perhaps there actually is a Tri Lateral Commission? It is rumored to be headed outside the US. If it is in Europe, maybe they are manipulating things through Eurodollar trading? Personally I think this is implausible, but who really knows?
It certainly does not make any sense that the net Eurodollar commercial position would provide a path for the ES one year in the future no matter how I look at it. Anyway, for those inclined to lean to the bullish camp, here is more ammo. I just can't put any faith in this in all honesty, but it is hard to argue it's accuracy.
I am going to have to cut this off, I got a terrible wound from breaking up a dog fight today after we brought a new rescue in that initially did not get along. My left hand is swollen so much I can barely move it so I am typing with one hand here. I am kind of one of these guys that pain does not bother much, and I thought this was just a few scratches until about mid day. At that point this thing just inflated like a balloon and I had to go get some drugs to fight the infection off. I hate going to see doctors and that stubbornness almost cost me dearly here. It is a bad trait even though it makes for a good movie character.
Good Luck Tuesday, hopefully this swelling will come down a bit by tomorrow night.

Get well soon Chris! We look for more of your insightful blogs. I also happened to incur a swollen wound today to my leg. Hope I still get lucky in trading on the day like this :)
Between Chris, is the indicator shown in the graph similar to the one Larry Williams used to predict the future market movements? I think he also do that using some indicator. So far, your prediction is going well.

Thank you for posting the updated chart, it truly is a mystery--can the SPX rally into December from here? I guess we have to be open to the possibility....
Hope the hand heals soon. Infections usually respond quickly to antibiotics.
I know you are smart enough to check if the animal was rabid, so I hope the infection goes down soon, and that will be the end of your troubles.
thanks for great insights

Very sorry to hear about your hand Chris, hope it gets better asap.
There's another guy who came up with such similarities, check this out - http://www.marketanthropology.com/:

Sometimes the first antibiotic isn't the right one. If you have any problems go right back. Don't let the infection get into your blood or you will be fighting to stay alive. Also, make them test the infection to see exactly what type of bacteria it is if you don't improve quickly. I wish you a full and quick recovery.

I would agree it does seem hard to believe we could rally like this indicates the rest of the year but you just never know. We are now in the 1360 area which was my zone to look for sells.
In terms of the question about is that what Larry uses with his forecast, the answer is no. He finds like years of the prior one then averages those and throws cycles in as well. All that chart shows is the net commercial position in the Eurodollar displaced 52 weeks forward. It makes no sense that it should be this accurate, but it is what it is.
PJ, thanks for the comments I do have a sister who is a world renowned hand and wrist surgeon so I have good consult going on. It is just two days now and although not much improvement, it is not getting worse so hopefully I start to turn the corner here today. It does not feel that bad but it sure looks bad.
To the other comment, it is one of my own dogs so I know there is no rabies risk. It was my fault I got bit, I should have let the fight go but I am a wrestler and martial arts guy, so my adrenaline just kicks in with these types of things and I can't help myself. I have broken up numerous dog fights and never been injured like this, I guess I have been lucky. I was afraid she was going to maim the other dog because of how tightly she had clamped down and would not let go even when I lifted here completely off the ground. She is a 160 lb St Bernard so a little on the strong side if you know what I mean. Nobody kicks sand in her face at the beach etc...
When a couple of dogs this big and strong go at it there is some danger for obvious reasons.
